While sea kayaking in the Queen Charlotte Islands, I visited the Haida Gwai wilderness area. There, I was drawn to places in the landscape where spirit beings revealed themselves. As I traveled around the world I discovered that these spirits are living everywhere in wilderness and natural environments. They are speaking to us, reminding us of our spiritual connection to Mother Earth. If you look closely at the images below, you’ll see these spirits in rock, mountain and forest.
